Python, Pycharm: error on line that doesn't exist.

I have just encountered this problem recently.

I have a project folder in a network drive that i use so i can access the documents from away from home as well as at home in one place. I have a few python files here and recently I have been enountering an issue where python won't let me run a file and gives me random errors on lines that don't exist in the file. I have reinstalled pycharm and I will be reinstalling python 3.8 as well. I am not sure what the issue is or if anyone has ever encountered it before. Sometimes when I open the file there will be a bunch of [nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul][nul] at the end of the file. I delete them but the errors persist. Here is an example. Thanks in advance.
