PyCharm Interpreter not found
Hello, I'm pretty new to PyCharm and Python in general so any kind of advice over Python or PyCharm would really help. Using Windows 10, I reinstalled PyCharm and Python 3.10.2 trying to fix a problem with not being able to install packages. PyCharm did not recognize the Python file I had installed so I clicked on the option to install "python-3.10.0-amd64.exe". I got an error message stating "Failed To Install Python 3.10" and "Error occurred: Exit code 1,638" with "Proposed solution: Try to install Python from https://www.python.org manually.". I figured I would settle for Python 3.9 for now however that isn't working either. When creating a new project, I see the first page below, I click Create, then I receive the error message. I am pretty lost as to what to do now. Does anyone have a similar problem or some advice?
After trying to create new environment just using Python 3.9 from creating a new project:
After clicking create, the error message shows:
I'm not even sure what Python 3.11 is either. I never installed anything like that and python.org has 3.10.2 as their most recent update at the time of writing this.
