Playwright Methods Not Showing Up

Hello there,

Newbie here...

I'm on latest Playwright library on Windows.

For some reason the library's methods won't show up as valid on WebStorm.

I've tried reinstalling WebStorm, creating a new Project, reinstalling Playwright, installing older Playwright versions but with no luck.

Fyi, VS Code shows and runs methods just fine so it's a WebStorm issue...

Any ideas, tips or advice?

Thanks for your time!!

Works fine for me

Please could you share a test project the issue can be reproduced in?

Thanks

The problem is that the package where the corresponding type definitions are stored is not listed as a direct app dependency and thus is excluded from indexing

Marking node_modules\playwright\node_modules\playwright-core\types Not Excluded should solve the issue

Thank you, that fixed it!

Do you know why did that happen and how can I prevent it in the future?

Indirect dependencies are excluded from indexing by default for better performance and navigation; this isn't going to change in near future
