I have a parent project and want to create a new subclass module. The 'Location' of 'Spring Initializr 'panel reports an error: Directory is already taken by the project' xxx ', which is only not available for 2022.1. 2021.3 can be created normally

Thanks for taking the time to report this.
It is a bug that was fixed just recently: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-292362/Unable-to-create-new-Spring-module:-project-location-is-already-
The fix will be available in the next minor release due May 12. As a workaround for version 2022.1 in the meantime, please use subfolders for new modules created from this dialog.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
