Why was the Rails Project View removed?

I updated to Rubymine 2022.1 recently, and noticed that the Rails Project View (the Project pane option that organizes the project by Rails terminology) is missing. Also noticed the documentation no longer mentions the Rails view. I can't find any information as to why this change occurred. Is this a purposeful change? Will the Rails view return? Is there an extension to get the Rails view back?

Hello Ryan, 

It's intended behaviour. We have plans to stop support of Rails View in one of next releases. As workaround you can switch it back via registry (Help | Find Actions -> Registry) key ruby.rails.projectView.enabled.
