Why does Pycharm create local .py files such as <filename>-LAPTOP-<SOME_CODE>.py? Follow

Hi forum! 

Today, I ran my a script "local.py" in Pycharm, and it created a local version of basically every file that' in my directory. Please see the screenshot.

This happened in both my windows and my mac, when I tried to run my script separately.  

Does anyone know why? Thanks!
