Strange hotspot issue connecting to database

Answered

For some reason, when I'm connected to a standard wifi, datagrip runs perfectly. Nevertheless, when I'm using my IOS hotspot, it doesn't connect.

I always get this error message:

Connection to 54.207.171.219:5432 refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster is accepting TCP/IP connections.

If I change wifi, it works. Anyone?

Connection refused usually means that the device (its network interface) is not able to establish a TCP connection with the database.

Most likely, that's your case when you're trying to connect via iOS hotspot. It can be related to NAT policies for iOS hotspots.

As far as I know, there is no way to change the NAT type for iOS devices.
