Line Numbers closer to code in IdeaVim

I'm using IdeaVim with relativenumber enabled. I just played around with zen-mode and really like it. The only problem though is that the distance between the line numbers and the code is too far to use relative numbers properly.

Is it possible to move the line numbers closer to the code or is it otherwise feasible to implement this as a configurable feature?
