Keep commit panel after commit
Hi,
After I commit, the commit dialog is hidden
Is there an option to change this behaviour and make it stay open?
For more info, I use a floating panel

This is curious, I was not able to reproduce this behaviour on my setup, floating commit window stays here after commit:
Sounds generic but have you tried to disable look'n'feel plugins already? (like Material UI)

I vaguely remember there was an option to either keep or close the commit dialog automatically, I just can't find it

Could you please go to Preferences | Advanced Settings and find `Toggle commit control`. If it's enabled - please disable and check whether commit floating window remains
