Auto-import cannot be disabled on IntelliJ IDEA 2021.3?

Hi folks, Despite unchecking all the boxes for auto-import (as well as re-checking and unchecking them again), auto-import behavior still persists. It seems to like to import even if it's not unambiguous and the import will cause errors, as seen in the linked screen cap.

Has anybody seen/heard of this? I figured I'd ask here before posting on the JetBrains youtrack in case I'm missing something obvious.
