layout messes with light theme

when i switch from dracula mode to intellij light, the left pane expands and layout gets messed up. how do i fix this?

Is the problem reproduced with all downloaded plugins disabled and IDE restarted? Preferences | Plugins | ⚙️ | Disable all downloaded plugins
Do you see the same problem in the latest version 2022.2 of the IDE?
