Why is TAB only a single line？

Why can't the new UI TAB wrap？Older versions of the UI had tabs that could wrap lines，As shown in the picture below
One question I have is that the new version of the UI barely recognizes that the current class is a source class, other than to distinguish the source from the directory，Why did you design it this way? Will it be changed in the next version？Thanks，As shown in the picture below，

There's already a request to return multiple rows for editor tabs, please upvote the corresponding ticket.
To see the file colors in tabs in the current version please enable Use in Editor tabs checkbox in File | Settings | Appearance & Behavior | File Colors. Changing the default value (always show colors in tabs) is already planned for 2023.1, see IDEA-295115
