Customize pyCharm skeleton location?

I am trying to do remote development on a shared Linux system in which I only have writeable access to directories within /tmp.

Whenever I configure a new project on my local machine and and configure it to use the remote server, it fails since it can not write to the default home directory of the account in which I'm logged into.

Is there a way to configure pycharm to use a different directory (i.e., /tmp/XXXX)  to load all of it's skeleton support code to?
