Including .icls with custom color plugin? Follow

Hi,

This is my first time making a plugin and im wondering how to include "text window" colours as well. Currently I have a plugin that does change colors but does not apply to the window where you actually type. Im guessing you include a .icls file but im not sure how, either my googling is inefficient or im going about it the wrong way.
