External tools WSL2 $PyInterpreterDirectory$

I have tools like flake8, isort, pydocstyle in my virtualenv (installed either in $ProjectFileDir$/.venv or $ProjectFileDir$/.direnv so the path is not always the same)

I would have expected $PyInterpreterDirectory$ to work but it is empty.

How can I configure the external tools?
