Preserve original file encoding

Answered

Hi!

I have encoding set to UTF-8. Now Idea changes non-utf-8 files to utf-8. However there are some files that I want to keep in their original encoding. How do I do that? From Settings > Editor > File Encodings I can make exceptions to specific file but I would like to add specific encoding for entire directory instead because there are hundreds of .csv files that need exception and adding them all manually is pain but having to edit them in other ide is also annoying.

Hello,

It's possible to configure encoding by path in "Settings/Preferences | Editor | File Encodings"

yes but that by path does not allow entry of directorys, but only specific files.

It's possible to add directories in that list.
