SQL file won't load

Answered

I have an SQL file that is 3416 lines that will not load in Datagrip. It was cloned from a slightly shorter script (3284 lines) which was authored in Datagrip. The wheel just spins and never opens. I have closed all services and tried reopening the file to no effect.

It opens immediately in Sublime text and PG Admin. Creating a new sql file in DG and copying the code over is instant, but after saving it fails to load upon reopening.

Hello,

What is the file size in megabytes? What version of DataGrip are you using?

Please collect the IDE logs (Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data), upload them to https://uploads.jetbrains.com/ and provide its ID.

Hi, I'm having a similar issue where one file just won't load. It opens in notepad or vscode but won't open in datagrip 2022.2.5. I uploaded the IDE logs, the upload id is: 2022_10_26_qwPNiGdtjhNpFs6N8oXYqN (file: datagrip-logs-20221026-1541342082607979569940019.zip).

Hi AndreiSaliba, is there a chance to upload that file? Your case is identical to DBE-16234 and you can upload it there. By default, it will be available for JetBrains team only.

Daniil Maslov I've added it as an attachment on the post. Is there a workaround or a way to where I can load the file in Datagrip?

Hello AndreiSaliba, sorry, I meant to upload an SQL file you cannot open. It helps us to reproduce the issue. Unfortunately, there is no workaround, but we will post it in the ticket if found it.

Ok, I uploaded the SQL file. Idk if this has anything to do with it but this morning I could open the sql file on my laptop but it was highlighting a lot of syntax errors that wouldn't go away even though there weren't any syntax errors. I invalidated cashes on datagrip and after it restarted it wouldn't load the file. So now the file doesn't load on either my PC or Laptop.

Hey Andrei. I am helping Daniil. I have sent your comment to a responsible developer and asked if there is any workaround right now. If you do not mind, it would be easier to continue the communication in that issue in YouTrack.
