I think I have an easy one for a change :)
Is there any way to turn off the bracketed text here? It's not helpful in this case.

Could you please attach screenshot from "Project Structure | Modules"?
Seems you have two modules with the same name, so (1) is added. IDE shows module name additionally if it differs from "artifactid" in pom.xml.
