Can't revert folder collapsing behavior

I previously follow this post to change how files collapse in project view.

However, now the registry key for async.project.view.collapse.tree.path.recursively is no longer present in the registry options, and I'm unable to change the behavior. I tried restoring defaults in the registry but it didn't change.

Is there another way to toggle this default behavior?
