Could not install pycharm > pycharm-community-2022.2.4 Follow

While installing PyCharm community version 2022.2.4. I get a message "A Software Update is Required" The remaining message reads as:

"Rosetta enables Intel-based features to run on Apple silicon Macs. Reopening applications after installation is required to start using Rosetta."

I proceed to "Install" and then I get a message which says "Installation Failed. An error occurs during installation"

Does anyone else have this issue?. I am using MacOS

Hello,

There are two versions of PyCharm for Mac for both processor types. You can select one for Apple Silicon when downloading PyCharm.
