Deleted Folder on remote server after exiting pycharm

I am using pycharm with latest version for remote developpement. Something weird happened when today I couldn't find a folder on the remote server. I believe it was deleted by pycharm client. I quit the app on my mac yesterday. I checked the logs and there is nothing indicating that some other process deleted it. 

Did this ever occur ?
