And BTW, intelliJ in About window uses correct Java by JetBrains.

I read all threads. I do can open my Project in IntelliJ, but when I want to open Java file, or any other file in Editor window, it does not work. From the beginning I had only Java 8 installed on ...

Sorry, did wrong copy/paste, I am on Mac, and do not see idea.jdk file. Where it should be?

I checked and I do not have such folder/file to modify:  c:\Users\myname\.IntelliJIdea14\
