Enable Preview Tab was the problem in my case. What an horrible feature, why would someone want this enabled by default. I don't want to ever replace my existing tab while coding.

I agree with Ragdata, there is no documentation. What you said makes no sense. If it's not a good idea why did the developers added the feature? I don't think anyone expects JetBrains to explain ho...
