For me, it was an authentication issue, apparently, as it started working after I set up the authentication key.

Downgrading didn't help me. But creating an authentication key did the trick.

Seems, it is still happening (2017.3). Or not... I have another case, because the client is Linux, too. Just seemed similar, at first.

Yes, exactly! So that I would be able to collapse all "app\Admin\resources" sub-folders at once. And see easier which results are more related with each other. If everything is collapsed like this...

Yes, with that option it works for me, too. I may even not write the full path: -dzend_extension=xdebug.so

Ok, so, I tried adding '-dxdebug.remote_autostart=1' to the command line and then 'export XDEBUG_CONFIG="idekey=PHPSTORM"', and it seemingly didn't help, but then I noticed XDebug was switched off ...

Still doesn't seem to work. In File->Settings->Languages & Frameworks -> PHP -> Servers->LocalServer, set "Host" to "LocalServer" (the same as the "Name" of the server), tried port both 80 and 9000...
