AFAIK your configuration is correct. Feel free to file an issue to our bugtracker for this problem.

Cache compression is implemented in IDEA 10.It does improve cache building performance and reduce cache size.Thanks for cooperation.

Currently it is not possible.Feel free to file a request to YouTrack. IMHO it should default to OS locale, then to english.

It used to be Alt-Enter and choose "Navigate" intention, but the feature's gone in 10th version :(
