I tried adding 'extends $Base$' with constraint. No change. Can you explain what you mean by "Use text of existing pattern"?

Once I see the type, is there an easy way to navigate to its decleration? If not, maybe the type in the tooltip can be a link to the type's decleration? or maybe hovering over a variable decleratio...

Why must there be a configuration per module? Isn't it easier to have to set it once in the general settings and override per-need in the module?

compiling the plugin from source with the latest scala dist solved the issue
