I figured it out. You create a run configuration and pick SDK : "iOS 5.0" instead of "Simulator - iOS 5.0"This is not intuitive at all! I suggest some better indication of running on the device.

yep, these work but take several more step than eclipse. eclipse is ctrl-shift-t and scroll through the list: http://grab.by/5TAK

I tried it and it doesn't work. The reason is that RubyMine doesn't know about git as it's up one level from the project.
