I have the same issue, and my 16Gb Macbook Pro just can't handle 2 opened PhpStorm projects (backend and frotnend) and Docker (which is limited just to 2Gb ram). MacOs memory pressure going to red ...

I have the same problem, maximum heap site is set to 2048, but PhpStorm takes 4.06G of memory, which slows down whole system on my Mac. Any way to reduce memory usage?

Thanks, that's too bad, this panel is so annoying when I don't need to use PHP debugging, and I mostly don't need it, very very rarely. Is there a way to request this feature?
