PHPStorm Live Templates expression unable to change

I've created a few live templates and until today I was able to change the "expression" in the edit variables dialog. Now, I am only able to select one from the dropdown and not make manual changes...

It didn't copy paste well. Ignore the last 2 lines. I expect a warning for the line: return $this->test(''); As it's a string passed into a function that expects an integer.
