I found a solution !!! I'm using pyenv and virtualenv so I have downgrade my python version to 3.8.0 to 3.6.9 (maybe the 3.7 will work ?) and create a new venv with the 3.6.9 version. In the jetbra...

Same bug for me. - I was running the 2019.1.4 (Professional Edition) version with MacOS : 10.14.6 - Upgrade to : 2019.2.3 (Professional Edition) do not resolve the problem. - Downgrade to : 2018.3....

Hi Tom ! On Mac OS the latent version of pycharm works fine for me. Do you have made a pip upgrade ?

Same error for me with this version.: - PyCharm 2017.1.5- Mac OS X 10.12.6 Download the new version and update pip, works fine : - PyCharm 2018.1.1 (Professional Edition)- macOS 10.12.6
