According to the online help, there should be a "Java class" option under File->New... There isn't. It's also missing under Alt-Insert. How can I turn that option on? I'm using IDEA 2016.1.4. -

IDEA does this thing where it hides text by replacing it with something shorter. Here is an example:log4j.appender.filer.File=${user.home}/logs/app.loggets replaced with:log4j.appender.filer.File=....
