@... as was already stated in the original post, invalidating didn't fix the problem, only manually deleting the caches folder solved the problem. Fortunately, it has only happened once for me.

I had the same problem and can confirm, that manually deleting the caches folder worked, after Invalidate caches and restart was ineffective.
