Can't type into editing windows

New, random bug appeared, and it appears to be a platform bug as it shows up in IntelliJ and other tools. For unknown reasons I'm unable to type characters into the editing windows. Menus, buttons ...

Done, thanks Tatiana. I captured two different hangs in this instance, one on autocompletion and the other on doing a Help>Search.
