If all you want is a JUnit 4.0 testcase, why not download the libraries, attach them to your project and make a test like:

Well, to be honest, when I did an @Test, IntelliJ asked me to import the junit.jar, but I didn't know where IntelliJ retreived the junit lib from. Furthermore, I suspect you'll need more libraries,...

Ofcourse, but maybe it is fixed now. I'm not sure.The problem I had was that I have a dependency in Maven which had a provided scope. It seems as if IntelliJ wasn't picking it up, and wasn't making...

Maybe not really a solution (though, since I have other problems, works for me), but have you tried configuring an external (Maven 2.0.7 eg) Maven installation?
