Why do you think it's an overkill ? I'm suggesting not to keep the whole results but only a search criterias, like "Field X of class Y", "Method A of class B" and the like. Their list could be disp...

I thought it has something to do with antivirus monitor (I have Norton v8.00.9374 running) but when I disabled it - nothing changed. Well, may be disabling NAV doesn't "really" disable it.

I've figured out that turning off the synchronization (Options -> IDE settings -> General) helps a lot, IDEA doesn't get stuck every time a frame gets a focus. I synchronize the files manually now.
