Semi-retired professional independent consultant and lead developer for major corps. Used the Omnis client/server/SQL development environment. Exploring Python and currently evaluating IDEs to determine which one to use. Comparing each to the world class Omnis IDE which allows robust debugging, GUI dev, list/array and SQL dev all in one package without having to research and install multiple tools. From what I've seen so far, PyCharm is for me the leading Python IDE candidate.
