i did use the merge, didn't really have problems, but your suggestions sound good.maybe we can make jetbrains implement them in 6.5

yes, i did just know. the quickfix is not really effective. it's the same as pressing ctrlaltv. i still have to do it for every element of the chain. the same goes for method calls likei have anoth...

looks like one of the plugins isn't compatible and causes selena to freeze when showing the spalsh screen. is there a way to find out which one is causing this?

that's not a way, it's torture.i went another way: screw the plugins, just re-install the important ones. that way worked.

today i thought about making a plugin that shows return values of nested calls in an expression - before "really" executing the calls. is this possible with the current openAPI?

idea's hotswap is a lot slower, but it actually works. i guess it takes that long because idea checks all files for modifications. eclipse just skips this, which results in a faster hotswap, and so...
