i think the real solution would be to prevent intellij from locking up at all, no matter how long a background operation is running

works, but it's not what i'd like... a hotkey that temporarily and magically inserts ":type" behind every declaration would be nice.

i completely agree. every modern idea can highlight members in a different color so prefixing just adds some code noise. i don't want that feature, i just need it ;)there is an inspection & quickfi...
