This is OK if QWERTY "[" is mapped to  "ö" and QWERTY  "]" to "ä" in your particular keyboard layout.

Thank you for the update. It means JBR does not recognize your F-keys without pressing `Fn` key. I have that kind of keyboard (but with the `Fn` key, and on F6 it raises the system sound level).  1...
