Python and Ruby all work great within IntelliJ.  I ended up buying separate copies of each, but that has to do more with the way I like working and the projects I am working on.

I too would like this feature/functionality.  Would it help if a feature request was added in the tracker for pycharm?

Never mind.  Go vote up http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-6740.  Looks like it is already there.
