that did the trick. Definitions work now too. Thank you :) perhaps, typescript and *.ts should be default?

Thanks for the reply. 1) Post executing 'Invalidate caches, Invalidate and restart' Pycharm is (still) not recognizing javascript objects/methds like document or querySelector in the app.js file ...
