After a reboot the issue seems to be mostly fixed. I only noticed output being lost 1 out of about 20 runs.

I created an ouput.txt file that just saved all of the text cout was supposed to print to a file, and everything is there even though CLion stops printing after a certain point. I think it is just ...

Shortly after posting this, I found out CLion 1.2 has built in support for googletest, so I just used their project design.

I'm pretty sure downgrading would help. I haven't had any issues since I switched to using 7.10 yet. Couldn't we just alias to 7.8 installed somewhere else?

Alright, I had to go from GDB 7.8 to 7.10 to get my breakpoints to stop. I could probably roll the system back to 7.8. Could I also install 7.8 to another location? Even though, 7.10 is not support...
