You know what, it's right there in the screenshot. "Navigation from non-modified tab will reuse it" I unchecked it and it worked as expected. Thanks!

My tab limit is set to 15 and I tried it with just one tab and it's the same behavior. It reuses the existing tab.

Ok so I tried it in IntelliJ Ultimate 2016.1 and you are right it opens a new tab, but in WebStorm 11.0.3 143.1559 it does not. I guess this is a new fix that will come to Webstorm? Maybe this is a...

Pressing escape doesn't focus out of the terminal for me. Anything I press after Esc and Esc Esc still ends up in the terminal.
