Do you have the option "Reformat code" checked in the check-in dialog?  If you have, then the Pom XML is probably being reformatted on check-in which is causing the prompt to reimport.

Using 9.0.2 on Windows XP, WIndows 7 and Red Hat Linux and it's a fantastic build in my opinion.  Just my personal experience of course

I get this problem if I re-open a project via the initial splash screen.  If I use the File->Reopen menu option, then I don't have the same problem.  I've got an open reported issue about it at IDE...

I've just been thinking about this problem, and it suddenly occurred to me that this file is actually being generated when I run my JUnit tests, using IDEA's JUnit runner - so it's actually an IDEA...
