When I right-click and expand git, I see "Compare with" commands but they show pair diffs.

Thx for replying.My goal is to be able to inspect a method's return value. Ideas:* One could set a bp on "end" stmt. Reaching "end" would show the return value as a pseudo local variable or watched...

That doesn't work which is why I changed it to .cmd. rubymine complains it can't start the process.

I don't see a VCS setting except in project settings. I have:C:\swe\msysgit\cmd\git.cmd

Test works fine on CheckOut but not on plugin. Clearly plugin is using different code.
