Using "literal".equals(var) works better in situations where var may be null. If you used var.equals("literal") you would need to makes sure var is not null first.

I had to also put a JPanel in the class I had bound the UI form to. For exampleI then had to bind the JPanel at the top of the tree in the ui builder to my panel field and it all worked fine.

I had the same problem on Windows. Some files inside the 815 zip file must be read only as once I made everything under my Aurora root directory read/write it worked ok.
