Look at com.intellij.ide.projectWizard.ProjectTypeStep#fillTemplatesMap()This is where the groups are computed.

How to unzip a VirtualFile?

I think I have to convert it into a java.io.File (VfsUtil.virtualToIoFile()) and then use com.intellij.util.io.ZipUtil#extract()?Or is it possible to stay with VirtualFile?Best regardsUdo
