I haven't yet began to use Irida. Still judging from the few test runs the Alloy IDEA theme is not that 'space wasting'. You can always 'fall back' to old Pallada theme if you like.

Mustang is very good for Idea 5 development.Nice if that's the case =). Idea 5 however - is not yet - very good for development.
