What is to support? Usually Google is all you need if there is an issue. Support is definitely not a criteria when choosing an IDE, at least for me.

I like and use IntelliJ, but not because of the customer service, support, etc.Eclipse is free so you don't have to pay for it in a first place, on the other hand IDE is not a mission critical appl...

Obviously, it is easy to say then implement, but as I can see it shouldn’t be that complicated. The IDE just logs all the debugging data to some file as a state of every debug step and then it is p...

I was using IDEA for a while and still do, obviously I’m not suggesting using remote file system for a local cache. Currently I’m using IDEA with dynamic Clear Case (I’m not sure it tells something...

I just don’t get it, is this that complicated to fix the resizing (it is not a generic support or something really complex where bugs are expected), probably handled in one place and stop annoying ...

What about debugging? Personally I don’t buy the Idea’s position of ignoring the JDK1.5 bugs, they would need to fix them anyway sooner or later. Eclipse and other IDEs seamlessly run under JDK 1.5...

I wish...At least in a project view it doesn’t work (I mean id does some times), I check file view as well

I have exported setting from the Idea 4.5 and imported into the 5.0 and then it stopped working. It works fien with default profile though.
