Intellij IDEA 8.1.3 locks up when reimporting large maven projects

Has anyone else experienced frequent lock ups with 8.1.3 when the reimporting large maven projects? The event thread seems complete blocked and IntelliJ IDEA seems to enter an infinite loop.

I think that a rescan after you generate-sources for the first time is an acceptable tradeoff. Perhaps we could a global setting that specified generated-source directory patterns.
